To be honest, I have never made any new year's resolutions or goals, but this year is an exception. I realized that I am a goal-oriented person, and I believe that I would become a better individual by not just setting but also listing specific goals for me to achieve. By listing the goals, I will be able to remind myself about the goals and track my progresses by looking back at the list! :)
1. Photograph more
I am passionate about photography! Seeing the world from a lens, choosing the best angles, capturing it into photos.. I just love the entire process (and hopefully the outcome)! :) I am keen to learn more photography techniques as well as other technical photography-related stuff. This year I aim to take lots and lots of photographs and to share them with all of you! (Maybe get a new lens sometime this year?)
2. Explore the country
So far, aside from Jakarta, I've only been to Bogor, Bandung, Bali, Yogyakarta, and Malang. I cant wait to visit other beautiful places I've never been before such as Anyer and Lombok. The thousand islands is high up on the list too! It would be awesome if I could visit at least one of them by the end of this year!
3. Food hunting
Ever heard of this quote?

3. Food hunting
Ever heard of this quote?
"I like to have food. I dislike being without food. My hobbies include eating food, shopping for food, and looking at food."
That's me in a nutshell.
I can never have enough food to try! So, visiting new restaurants and trying new food is definitely one of my goals!
4. Improve my writing skills
I am not that strong in writing and describing things that I actually would like to say. I'd like to be able to write long posts and stories that all of you can relate to and to make them as interesting and engaging as possible. :)
5. Give back to the society
I intent to give back more to the society such as by visiting an orphanage and giving donations to the ones in need. I have the thought of joining a run-for-charity event but I am a tad scared to join as I'm not the fittest person there is to make it to the finish line. So I hope that I can have the courage to participate in the run for a good cause!
6. Exercise regularly
This is related to goal number 5, and I am well aware that this is gonna be extremely tough for me since I RARELY exercise (like near to never). But I realized that it's gonna have a huge impact to my health.
7. Learn how to make souffles!
Another food-related goal... See what I mean when I say I LOVE food? I've always wanted to be able to make souffles. I am drooling just by imagining it. I actually have bought all the needed equipment, but have never give it a try. I would love to try to make both savory as well as sweet souffles!
So that's my bucket list for this year! The list could actually go on and on and on, but I decided to keep it short to be more focused rather than making a long list that I might end up not achieving any, and be frustrated instead. I hope I can achieve some, if not all the goals mentioned above and be a better me! Don't hesitate in making your very own list to make them come true! I wish everyone a great year ahead :)
