Day in Life || 10 February 2016

I know it's a tad late, but this one needs to be posted for sure! So, last Wednesday was one of the most important and special day for David and myself. It was the day David had to defend his thesis to receive his Bachelor's degree in Marketing, which indicates that he is graduating very soon!

Despite the fact that I'm always laughing every time I watch David practicing for the big day in a super serious mode, I decided to tag along to accompany and support him in his very last presentation in his university. David was extremely tensed and nervous on that day. I can't help but keep on teasing him and trying to scare him even more! It's just too irresistible. Regardless of the fact, I too got nervous right before we entered the room. He certainly wasn't the only one who was anxious.

David seemed to be quite nervous at the beginning, but as he went on he managed to take total control throughout the rest of the presentation. As for me, I kept on smiling and trying real hard to hold myself from laughing from the beginning of the presentation until the very end. It's just so weird for me to watch him talking in a formal and professional manner since he's so playful and silly when he's with me!

As soon as he had done presenting, the examiners had a discussion among themselves before announcing his grade. Here comes the moment of truth... After all the hard work and struggles, David passed his thesis defense with flying colors! I am so very proud of him! It was such a huge relief not only for him, but for me as well. That being said, it means that all that's left is his Graduation Day which will be held around the middle of this year!

Afterward, we went to the entrance of the library inside the campus - where David and I met and talked to each other in person for the very first time - to take a couple of pictures for our memento. It was quite emotional for both of us.

To celebrate the day, David and I went to have lunch at Pizza Express in Senayan City Mall which is located just across the street. We ended up ordering a plate of Cheese Dough Balls, Spaghetti Aglio Olio, and Risotto Fresco; as well as Cranberry Twinings Tea for drink. We were so hungry that we finished the whole meal in no time!

To sum up, it was an awesome day!
